MVMS Select Chorus Performs at 51st Annual St. Lambert Hockey Tournament (LYNN, MA. - NOVEMBER 21, 2015) The Marblehead Veterans Middle School (MVMS) Select Chorus was honored to sing The Star Spangled Banner and the Canadian national anthem Oh Canada during the opening ceremonies at the 51st Annual St. Lambert Hockey Tournament on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Lynn Connery Ice Rink in Lynn, MA. Members of the MVMS Select Chorus sang to a full house of hockey players, parents, coaches, and friends from the United States and Canada. This is the second year the Select Chorus was invited to sing at the Tournament. The Select Chorus is a competitive singing group led by MVMS music director Bob Tirelli. "The National Anthem is always a part of the chorus repertoire," says Tirelli. The MVMS Choral groups have been preparing for several upcoming holiday performances, including the Marblehead Christmas walk on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Come hear them sing at Warwick Place at 11am. Tanglewood Festival Chorus Rehearsal Director to Visit MHS

On 2/13 Dr. William Cutter, choral director at MIT and rehearsal conductor for Tanglewood Festival Chorus, is coming to Mr. Scoglio's choir classes during the school day to present a master class and present information regarding his Summer Vocal/Choral Intensive program for high school singers through the Boston Conservatory.

MHS Performing Arts Groups to Perform at the Inauguration of Governor Charlie Baker
